Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) saw positive performance early Monday, bolstered by Arab buying.

By 10:16 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index edged up 0.36% or 50.45 points to the level of 13,756.51 points.

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 268.4 million, while foreign and Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 267.7 million and EGP 672,400, respectively.

The EGX70 index inched up 0.2% to 787.67 points, while the EGX100 index added 0.15% to 1,753.70 points.

Commercial International Bank- Egypt (CIB) slipped 0.47% to EGP 76.7.

The equal-weighted EGX50 index opened up 0.06% to 2,436 points.

Trading volume reached about 27.7 million shares exchange at a turnover of EGP 77.27 million through 2,500 transactions.
